Beijing embroidery was developed in the Ming and Qing dynasties, mostly used in the palace, known as the "Eight Greatest Crafts of Yanjing", and has a very high value as a collection.
This series separates ceramics and embroidery from their traditional settings, redesigning and combining them to extend the boundaries of the craft, and is an exploration of a more integrated approach to non-genetic inheritance.
