The principle of shaping the "identical" series is to change the proportion of 4 sectors from 4 feet point in one circle in order to control different heights of the utensils. The functions of the 5 utensils are also changed according to their heights and diameters. When piled together, the silhouette of the set also highlights the identical circle of the original one that is used to create the series.
Another specific point in finish is the coarse rim of each utensil. We would like to create tactile as well as visual feeling of gradients from roughness to smoothness, density to sparseness, and heaviness to lightness to comply with the metaphor of contrasts. The random pattern of the rough rims that created by grey tile powder also express a key value of handmade objects -- irreplaceable by industrially made molds.
